I just watched my Blog Archive and I didn't see a post where it was posted in 2019, wow I was surprised. It means  I haven't posted a new story for a year, seriously?

Since it's still April 24th in 2020, so I'll post a new story. This is about my journey to Lombok Island in 2019. Well, actually my trip to Lombok was in December 2019 but I think, it's okay right to post it in 2020?

Okay, so people will ask that is it for holiday or not? Actually no, since I went there only for two days. But, that's not really wrong because on the second day, we fill it by going to the beach, hills and other tourist attractions. And the reason why my family and I went there was my uncle's wedding day! So my uncle lives at Lombok Island and he marries a girl who is also a Lombok girl. Congratulations! Happy Wedding!

Here, I don't want to talk about his wedding day, I just want to tell you about what transportation we can use to go there, how long, and what the name of the beach and hill I visited, etc. Oh, I also will give you lots of pictures! But I'm so sorry they are not really in high quality since my family sent the picture using WhatsApp, I mean WhatsApp converts the file size to smaller. But the memories in our mind is more important than the quality of the images, right?

Okay first thing first, I want to tell you about what transportation we can use to go there. So we started the journey from Surabaya (actually my cousin started from South of Jakarta but here I'll tell you about me, myself, not my family). 

Actually here consists of several options, we can board a ferry from Tanjung Perak to Lembar (if I'm not wrong), by plane, or drive a car from Surabaya to Mataram. But what we chose was that we drove the car from Surabaya to Padang Bai, then we boarded the ferry heading for Lembar and on Lembar my uncle's friend waited for us with his car to take us to Mataram. The reason we chose not to bring our car to Mataram was that we needed expensive fees if we brought the car to board the ship.

At first, I was very afraid because the ferry from Padang Bai to Lembar, of course this was different with the trip from Ketapang to Gilimanuk since it took us about 5 hours to take a ship from Padang Bai to Lembar, in the middle of a deep and wide sea, we even couldn't see the island around us, which we could see only the sea. Only the sea. Also at that time from the experience of some people, the ocean has quite large waves. And we have our ship and I try hard to sleep to get rid of my fear.

We slept and woke up at Shubuh. At that time we sholat when the sun hasn't appeared, we didn't realize anything there. 

Then we chose to go to the front of the ship, not expecting, we were treated to a super epic view, we didn't take too many photos, let's say that we were too fascinated by the scenery at that time.

After arriving at Tanjung, we came to my uncle's wedding. And in the evening, we ate grilled fish on the beach, you know, many people said it's just an ordinary beach, but I enjoyed it. Super enjoyed it. That was already a beautiful beach for me. And after that we went to Senggigi beach.

Let's start for the next day, that was the day! That was our tour day, all day long!
We sholat in a large mosque, the mosque was named Nurul Bilad Mandalika. We took some photos there, and not far from there we arrived at Merese Hill in Lombok. We were very happy there and took many beautiful photos of course.




Actually I took a bunch of pictures there but sorry I only have 3 pictures that I can share with you. You have to go up to a high hill (but if you're lazy, you can enjoy the beautiful beach too). Above, you can enjoy a very sweet sight that will impress you. There is a beautiful hill surrounded by a very nice beach, well, you can see little spoilers in the photo I gave, for more you can come there by yourself.

Okay, let's move to the next part!
Ah, I really don't remember what the name of that beach is. Mawun Beach? I extremely don't remember since it has been 4 months? Pardon me if I have lots of mistakes.

It had big waves at that time, of course, it also had a very beautiful view, white sand, and oh! don't forget you can also meet dogs there. There also sell drinks like coconut water and some other food, but by that time we had eaten, sadly.

The last one! Selong Belanak Beach.
Before going back to Bali, we came to a beach (apparently at that time we wanted to see the sunset) named Selong Belanak beach. You can see some boats there. That was pretty sunset.
